Police Reports for the week of October 31, 2009

The following are incident and offense reports from the Pelham Police Department from Oct. 20-27:

Oct. 20
-Theft of property from 400 Cahaba Valley Road (other, unknown). Stolen was a headstone flower vase valued at $150.

-Driving under the influence-alcohol/fail to signal turn from Stonehaven Trail and Stonehaven Drive (highway, street).

-Miscellaneous information from the parking lot in between Buildings C and D of Little Mountain Apartments.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Stone Bridge Circle (highway, street). Damaged was a 2004 Nissan 350Z in the amount of $1,500.

-Outside agency assist (misdemeanor) from the 600 block of Cahaba Manor Trail.

Oct. 21
-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Hidden Creek Cove.

-Theft of property from Valleydale Mobile Home Park, 2170 Pelham Parkway. (Suffix 02). Stolen were $1,000 in U.S. currency, a payroll check in the amount of $500, 100 music CDs valued at $700 and a key to a metal filing cabinet.

-Theft of property from Valleydale Mobile Home Park, 2170 Pelham Parkway. (Suffix 01). Stolen were a Sony PlayStation valued at $120, a cell phone valued at $150, athletic shoes valued at $50 and 50 music CDs valued at $300.

-Property damage from the 2500 block of North Candalar Lane. Damaged was a residential backyard and wooden fence in the amount of $750 and a metal mailbox valued at $24.

-Outside agency assist from Interstate 65 northbound at Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle/theft of property from the 100 block of Wisteria Drive, Chelsea. Stolen were a CZ .40-caliber pistol valued at $400, a wallet valued at $10, three bank cards, an American Express credit card and an Alabama driver’s license valued at $25.

Oct. 22
-Criminal possession of forged instrument from Sarris Cafe (restaurant). Recovered was a transcheck.

-Criminal possession of forged instrument from the 2200 block of Pelham Parkway (bank). Forged, counterfeited was a Wachovia Bank counter withdrawal slip valued at $200.

-Harassing communications from the 800 block of Valleyview Road.

-Domestic violence (assault) from the 1400 block of Kelly Drive.

-Outside agency assist-law enforcement from U.S. Highway 280, Brookhighland area of Shelby County (parking lot, garage).

Oct. 23
-Receiving stolen property from Heather Lane and Stonehaven Trail (highway, street). Recovered was a 2005 Dodge Stratus valued at $3,000.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance/illegal possession of a prescription medication from a room at Oak Mountain Lodge,  (hotel, motel). (Suffix 01) Confiscated, seized were nine Ambien 10, nine Seroquel 100, eight $100-bills, seven $20-bills, one $5-bill, two $2-bills and two Alabama State identification cards.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel). (Suffix 01).  Stolen and recovered was a Makita drill valued at $250. Stolen was a pindle hook trailer ball hitch valued at $250.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel). Suffix 00).  Stolen were an orange cloth toolbox containing power tools and TV cable tools valued at $1,000.

-Driving under the influence-alcohol from Helena Road and Pelham Parkway (highway, street).

-Harassing communications from the 400 block of Midridge Lane.

-Property damage (vehicle) from Interstate 65 South at Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street). Damaged was a passenger side front quarter panel on a 1992 Town Car in the amount of $350.

Oct. 24
-Outside agency assist from Cahaba Valley Road at interstate 65 (commercial).

-Harassing communications from 201 Beaver Creek Trail.

-Driving under the influence of alcohol/driving while suspended from Interstate 65 at County Road 52 (highway, street).

Oct. 25

-Driving under the influence of alcohol/proof of liability insurance required from Interstate 65 southbound at 242 mile marker (highway, street).

-Death investigation (hospice) from David Drive. Listed as damaged, destroyed were various medications.

-Unauthorized use of vehicle from the 2100 block of Pelham Parkway. Involved was a 1988 Honda Civic.

-Criminal mischief from 234 Hidden Creek Trail (highway, street). Damaged was a reclusive rig for repossession truck in the amount of $100.

-Driving under the influence of alcohol from County Road 11 at Bent Rail Lane (highway, street).

-Leaving the scene of an accident from the 4400 block of County Road 11 (highway, street). Damaged was a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe front bumper.

Oct. 26
-Outside agency assist from Parker Drive and Industrial Drive (highway, street).

-Outside agency assist-law enforcement from Baptist Health Center, 120 Cahaba Valley Parkway (other, unknown).

-Unlawful possession of controlled substance/possession of drug paraphernalia from Chandamont Circle. Recovered were a blue pill labeled G3721, a green pill labeled Mylan477, two white pills labeled R59, a blue pill labeled G4900, a multi-colored glass pipe containing marijuana residue and a small cut straw containing a white powdery residue valued at a total of $65.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Cheshire Lane. Stolen a global positioning system valued at $200, a gold plated and a silver plated watch valued at $100 each, a utility knife valued at $50, a wallet valued at $20, a Regions debit card and a Shell fuel credit card.

-Promoting prison contraband from 3174 Church Street (government, public building). Recovered were 14 Endocet (Oxycodone) 10-milligram tablets valued at  $140.

-Miscellaneous information-property damage from a business on the 3100 block of Highway 52 (convenience store). Damaged was a light fixture with a plastic dome in the amount of $100.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of High Crest Drive. Stolen were a Panasonic DVD player valued at $30 and a Sony PlayStation 3 valued at $400.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Canyon Trail.

Oct. 27
-Harassing communications from Deer Springs Road.
