Police reports for the week of May 12, 2012

The following are incident and offense reports from the Pelham Police Department from April 29-May 6:

April 29

-Theft of property from 2181 Pelham Parkway (supermarket). Stolen were a ball valued at $3, a golf caddy valued at $6, a BIAB Queen valued at $50, a stripe bath valued at $4, two bath towels valued at $6, a WS camp shirt valued at $9 and diapers valued at $46.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Stratford Circle (other, unknown). Damaged was a retaining wall.

 

April 30

-Harassing communications from the 2700 block of Pelham Parkway (other, unknown).

-Pelham city ordinance – sounds on commercial premises (residence, home).

-Suicide attempt from Indianwood Drive (residence, home).

-Violation of municipal ordinance and outside agency assist – law enforcement from Bearden Road at Canterbury Road (highway, street).

 

May 1

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from Cahaba Valley Parkway (highway, street).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the 900 block of Ryecroft Road (residence, home).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the 8300 block of Helena Road (highway, street).

-Theft of property from a business in the 3400 block of Pelham Parkway (specialty store). Stolen was $180 in U.S. currency.

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the 100 block of Oliver Street (residence, home).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from Interstate 65 at County Road 33 (highway, street).

-Miscellaneous information from the Walmart in Saraland (commercial).

 

 

May 2

-Domestic violence from the 2700 block of Wellington Circle (residence, home).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Walmart parking lot at 2181 Pelham Parkway (parking lot, garage).

-Driving under the influence from the parking lot of Publix north (parking lot, garage).

-Miscellaneous information from 350 Belle Vista mobile home park (other, unknown).

 

May 3

-Public intoxication and Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act from the 3400 block of Pelham Parkway (highway, street).

-Public lewdness from the 2500 block of County Road 35 (residence, home).

-Trespassing from El Korita at 1005 Oliver St. (convenience store).

-Property damage from the 2000 block of Chandalar Court (residence, home). Damaged was a mahogany China cabinet in the amount of $100.

 

May 4

-Leaving the scene of an accident from 234 Cahaba Valley Road (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a 2008 Nissan Maxima.

-Public intoxication from a private road next to the Pelham BP gas station (highway, street).

-Property damage from the 2100 block of Pelham Parkway (department store). Damaged were a hood and front bumper in the amount of $2,000.

-Death investigation – hospice from the 200 block of Silverleaf Drive (residence, home).

-Harassment from the 200 block of Laurel Circle (residence, home).

-Driving under the influence of alcohol from the parking lot of the Pelham Towne Center (parking lot, garage).

 

May 5

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from 557 Cahaba Valley Road (restaurant).

 

-Property damage – vehicle from Pelham Parkway south of YMCA (highway, street). Damaged was the front driver’s side of a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property from Walmart (department store). Stolen were assorted fishing lures, worms and hooks valued at $75.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the parking lot of Dollar Tree (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a Fusion Android valued at $120, $5 in U.S. currency and a Hooters serving pouch valued at $20.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 2100 block of Pelham Parkway (department store). Stolen was a $105 transaction on a Visa card.

-Miscellaneous information – found property from 752 Crosscreek Trail (highway, street). Recovered was a Samsung Galaxy tablet valued at $400.

-Giving a false name or address to law enforcement from the 2000 block of Old Montgomery Highway (highway, street). Confiscated was an Ohio identification card, a Puerto Rico birth certificate, a Social Security card and a permanent residence card.

-Theft of property from a business on the 400 block of Southgate Drive (other, unknown). Stolen were a Vizio flatscreen TV valued at $800, a Honda pressure washer valued at $300, a NAPA battery charger valued at $75 and a Honda lawnmower valued at $50.

 

May 6

-Assault from the Birmingham South Campground (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving while license revoked from 360 Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street). Confiscated were a blue hydrocodone pill valued at $5 and a round diazepam pill valued at $5.

-Theft of property from the parking lot of the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre (parking lot, garage). Stolen were two Texas Instruments calculators valued at $150 and a bag of assorted hand tools valued at $50.

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from 360 Cahaba Valley Road (highway, street).
