Police reports for the week of July 28, 2012

The following are incident and offense reports from the Pelham Police Department from July 9-15:

 

July 9

-Theft of property from Pelham Parkway at the Pelham Promenade (highway, street). Stolen were a purse and wallet valued at $70, various credit cards, an Alabama driver’s license, a Social Security card, PNC Bank checkbooks, a Virgin Mobile LG mobile phone valued at $75 and various cosmetics valued at $100.

-Miscellaneous information from Victor Automotive (specialty store).

-Receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia from Cahaba Valley Road at Interstate 65 (highway, street). Stolen were crown batteries valued at $800 and confiscated was a shock bag valued at $20.

-Miscellaneous information from Little Mountain Circle apartment F-14 (residence, home). Damaged were the front door in the amount of $100 and a door frame in the amount of $100.

-Domestic violence from 3170 Pelham Parkway (commercial).

-Theft of property from Pelham Parkway at Commerce Parkway (highway, street). Stolen were crown batteries valued at $800.

-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Windstone Parkway (residence, home). Damaged was a black cast iron mailbox and support bracket in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property from the Walmart at 2181 Pelham Parkway (supermarket). Stolen was $44 in U.S. currency on a Walmart gift card.

 

July 10

-Theft of property from the 5500 block of Highway 11 (residence, home). Stolen was a Home Depot credit card.

-Property damage from Bearden Road near the entrance to the Cedar Grove subdivision (highway, street). Damaged was the windshield on a 2003 Nissan Altima.

-Death investigation from the Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel).

-Property damage from the Little Mountain Chataeu Apartments (parking lot, garage). Damaged were a rear bumper in the amount of $200 and a side front window in the amount of $200.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from 2600 Pelham Parkway (other, unknown).

-Unexplained lost property from the 1900 block of County Road 33.

-Domestic violence from the 100 block of Legacy Park Drive (residence, home).

-Criminal trespass from 101 Bishop Circle (hotel, motel).

-Theft of property from 2181 Pelham Parkway (department store). Stolen was $92 in U.S. currency.

 

July 11

-Public intoxication and unlawful possession of a controlled substance from Joe Hudson’s Collision Center (service, gas station). Confiscated were 14 Xanax bars valued at $50.

-Theft of property from the 2600 block of Pelham Parkway (restaurant). Stolen were stainless brushed steel tea urns valued at $1,080 and plastic holding trays valued at $150.

-Violation of municipal ordinance – dogs not to be at large from the 100 block of Stonehaven Drive (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of a forged instrument from the Regions Bank at 2228 Pelham Parkway (bank). Stolen were personnel checks valued at $485.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and receiving stolen property from the 500 block of King Valley Circle (residence, home). Stolen were an Alabama driver’s license valued at $25, $5 in U.S. currency and an Alabama driver’s license valued at $25.

 

July 12

-Found property from Budget Car Rental at 451 Southgate Drive (parking lot, garage). Recovered were a Bersa .380-caliber pistol valued at $200 and six .380-caliber rounds valued at $10.

-Animal problem – public safety risk (residence, home).

-Civil dispute from an unknown location (other, unknown).

 

July 13

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from J&C Auto Sales (parking lot, garage). Stolen were headlight assemblies valued at $2,200 and tail light assemblies valued at $612.

-Burglary from 200 Ballpark Road (commercial). Stolen were Motorolla Droid Tablets valued at $800 and rolls of copper wiring valued at $7,500.

-Menacing and harassment from Cottage Circle (highway, street).

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from the Shelby Mart shopping center parking lot (parking lot, garage). Confiscated was a glass pipe.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 2500 block of Dalton Drive (residence, home).

-Theft of gasoline from the 2100 block of Pelham Parkway (service, gas station). Stolen were 10 gallons of unleaded gasoline valued at $31.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 100 block of Tomahawk Circle (residence, home). Stolen was a Garmin Nuvi GPS valued at $250.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 100 block of Cahaba Valley Parkway.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Commerce Parkway (specialty store). Stolen was an Apple iPhone 4 valued at $300.

-Assault from the 300 block of Green Park South (residence, home).

-Receiving stolen property from Pelham Parkway at Industrial Park Drive (highway, street). Recovered was an Alabama license plate valued at $25.

 

July 14

-Miscellaneous information from Royal Lane (residence, home).

-Property damage from the Bella Vista mobile home park (residence, home). Damaged was a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property from 9013 Helena Road (church). Stolen was a Boost Mobile LG Mystique valued at $200.

-Domestic violence – harassment from 2020 Pelham Parkway (restaurant).

-Burglary from Cahaba Manor Lane (residence, home). Stolen were a Nintendo Wii valued at $200, a DVD player valued at $70, a Compaq laptop valued at $300, cyclobenzaprine valued at $10, alprazolam valued at $10, hydrocodone valued at $10 and a utility knife valued at $40.

 

July 15

-Miscellaneous information from Green Park South (residence, home).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from 32 Philip Davis St. (jail, prison).
